Survey of the history of Christianity from the earliest days of the Church through the period of the Reformation to the end of the twentieth century. It examines the main currents of spirituality, theology, missions, worship and organization of the Church, as well as identifying major leaders, writings and movements. The main emphasis will be on the Protestant tradition, but attention will be paid also to the Orthodox and Roman Catholic traditions.
