Process:

University College & Seminary faculty members may nominate graduates for the Award. Nominations are also received by members of the Tyndale Alumni Office. Nominations must be submitted in writing using the Distinguished Alumni nomination form, posted above.

The written nominations  need to be submitted to the Deans or the Alumni Office no later than the second Wednesday in January.

The Deans in collaboration with the Alumni Office will draw up a short list of nominees for Faculty discussion at the faculty meeting closest to the closing date for the nominations. The Director of Alumni Relations will attend this part of the meeting to participate in the selection of the nominees. One award for the University College and one for the Seminary will be granted each year.

The Faculty’s recommended candidates will be brought to Cabinet for final approval at the next Cabinet meeting.
The Deans and the Director of Alumni Relations will then officially notify the nominee of the Cabinet’s decision.
