Join us for two inspiring and challenging events featuring world-renowned New Testament scholar, Ben Witherington III. Dr. Witherington is Amos Professor of New Testament for Doctoral Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary and the author of over 40 books. Witherington's visit will be preceded by a special Sunday evening worship service featuring Dr. Swee Hong Lim on April 23.

April 24: Wesley Ministry Conference

A Singular Scripture in a Pluralistic Culture

This event aims to encourage and equip pastors and other ministry leaders, following in the tradition of our 2013 and 2010 ministry conferences featuring Leonard Sweet and Timothy Tennent.  Come worship, pray, and connect with other Wesleyan leaders as we hear Dr. Witherington discuss the inspiration of scripture and how it speaks authoritatively in the contemporary context.  See the Wesley Ministry Conference page for further details.

The Ethics of Jesus Revisited

The Wesley Studies Symposium is an academic event that gathers scholars, students, pastors, and others interested in Wesleyan scholarship.  In addition to a keynote address from Ben Witherington, other papers will be presented on a variety of theological, historical, and biblical topics.
