Bridging the Divide: Charles Wesley and Contemporary Worship

Join us for an evening of worship with specical guest, Dr. Swee Hong Lim. Dr. Lim, a Methodist originally from Singapore, is a prolific composer and renowned expert on global contemporary worship.  He is currently Deer Park Assistant Professor of Sacred Music and Director of the Sacred Music Program at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto.

Supported by church musicians from around the GTA, we will sing some of the great Charles Wesley hymns and learn about new settings for these hymns from around the globe.

This event is being held in conjunction with a Wesley Ministry Conference on April 24 and a Wesley Studies Symposium on April 25, both featuring Dr. Ben Witherington III.

This event will take place in the Tyndale Chapel. No registration is required.
