Principles of Ecology

This course is an introduction to the study of the interaction of organisms and the environment. Topics include physiological ecology, population ecology, ecosystem processes, and life history strategies. An emphasis is placed on selected terrestrial, wetland and aquatic environments. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory work per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 104
