Marketing for Non-Profit and Voluntary Organizations

An organization needs marketing skills to survive in a competitive environment. Changes in government policies are forcing non-profits to compete for funds among donors and to look for ways to generate revenue. Provides a clear understanding of the decisions that must be made to set up effective marketing and fundraising programs in the non-profit sector. Topics include targeting specific markets, attracting resources, increasing awareness of program offerings, and collaborating with other organizations. Prerequisite: BUSI 231. Not currently offered.
