Examines global economic development from a historical perspective and a twenty-first century perspective. Subjects covered include theories of economic development, sustainability, the role of trade and manufacturing, economic growth, natural resources, government contributions and other relevant macro factors from an international development point of view. Case study based. Prerequisite: 12 credit hours in BUSI.
