Program Name: Women of Hope

Purpose
Women’s English Class: Assist new immigrant women in developing and improving their understanding of the English language through conversation and fellowship. Also, providing them with opportunities to learn and experience Canadian culture and have a sense of community.

Baking Class: Assist in baking healthy snacks and developing friendships with women in the Malvern community.

Responsibilities
• Be willing to patiently assist these women in improving their English language skills
• Be excited to have discussions and encourage them as they improve.
• Prepare light snack or lunch
• Assist with prep and clean up for the baking class
• Debrief after each session

Skills & Qualifications
• Female
• Christian
• Committed to serving

Time Commitment & Location
Monday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Malvern Community (Morningside Rd. & Sheppard)
