Mission Statement: Urban Promise Toronto is a registered Christian non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to meeting the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to empower children, youth, helping their families to realize life"s full potential by equipping them with the skills & resources necessary for spiritual growth, academic achievement, life management, and leadership.

Nature of work: Youth, children, social justice, inner-city, counselling and support, mothers and families.
Qualifications: Working on undergraduate degree in field. A teachable character an asset. Skills in connecting with others. Research and writing also required.

Responsibilities: Face-to-face work with children, youth or mothers, in our various programs. Shadowing some clinical work and staff meetings. Research and special projects are included in placement. This will be a rigorous learning experience.

Time Commitment: Flexible to placement requirements of the respective program.
