Wesley Studies

Purpose

The Chair of Wesley Studies at Tyndale Seminary exists to provide students at this trans-denominational institution with an understanding of the life, theology and practices of John and Charles Wesley and of the Methodist movement they were used of God in raising up; and to provide students of a Wesleyan persuasion special in-depth instruction in Wesleyan studies, thought and practice.

Dr. Howard Snyder, who is the distinguished Chair of Wesleyan Studies at Tyndale, has written numerous Wesleyan related publications, organizes the annual Wesleyan Studies Symposium, and regularly teaches courses related to the Wesleys and their continuing influence on the church.
