Examines Paul’s shorter letters (Galatians to Philemon), including the historical, social, and religious contexts of the Jesus communities to which the letters are addressed. Attention will be paid to the theology of the letters and critical, scholarly issues associated with the letters. The course may focus on a few of the letters rather than all of them. Prerequisites: BSTH 101, 102, 201.
