The New Resident Application is for Tyndale students who have not stayed in Tyndale residence before during Fall and/or Winter semester and would like to stay for the upcoming academic year (Fall and/or Winter semester).

If you are currently living or have lived in residence during the Fall and/or Winter at Tyndale within the past two years, please complete the Returning Resident Application.

Application Process

Applying for residence is free and can be completed online.

Applying to move in beginning in the Fall Term (September)

Residence applications received before June 1st will be considered in a first round. Applications received after this date will be reviewed in a second round if space is still available. Notification of acceptance into residence will begin in the first week of July.

Applying to move in beginning in the Winter Term (January)

You may apply for residence for the Winter term at any time prior to the beginning of the term. Space is limited and applications will be reviewed based on available space. Notification of acceptance into residence will be sent as available.

Submit New Resident Application

Please note that before your application for residence can be considered, you must first be an accepted Tyndale student.

Please do not assume that you have been accepted into residence unless expressly written in an email. Tyndale reserves the right to deny a request of residence without explanation.

Residence Deposit

A residence deposit must be paid to confirm your room once you have been accepted into residence. This residence deposit does not go towards your residence fees. This is a security deposit that will be held on file during your stay in residence.
