Biography

Bramwell is a highly qualified senior manager with an extensive background in wealth management and business banking. In his current role at CIBC Private Wealth Management, he oversees the insurance lending portfolio nationally, including all aspects of credit origination, documentation, loan funding, and credit renewal.

Alongside this, he provides complex credit solutions to ultra-high net worth families, that meet their needs in unconventional situations, and is considered to be the "subject matter expert" by Private Banking national leadership.

Bramwell has over 20 years of management experience in the financial industry. He has also worked in various role with increasing responsibility at CIBC Commercial Banking, TD Wealth, and TD Business Banking. He has successfully managed a diversified loan portfolio, recommended credit structures according to the risk characteristics of the borrower while adhering to the bank's credit policies, and ensuring the Bank’s profitability hurdles are met. Proactively monitored trends and conditions for large commercial customers – developing an action plan for problem situations by providing appropriate solutions and recommendations.

Since 2021, he has also been a part-time instructor in Strategic Management and International Business at Tyndale University and Wilfrid Laurier University, where he draws on his management experience to teach management concepts, inform students about current events and identify trends in the business world.
