Biblical Studies and Theology - PAONL

Pentecostal Focus

The Biblical Studies and Theology - Pentecostal Focus program is designed for students seeking ministry credentials within the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador (PAONL). This program helps students understand the distinctiveness of the Pentecostal heritage and gives them a passion to learn about and defend their own theology more vigorously.

At Tyndale, students will receive a solid biblical and theological education in preparation for ministry, but one that is recognized in the university world. By experiencing Toronto first-hand, students will be able to see what makes Newfoundland and Labrador distinct and special, increasing their passion for Newfoundland and Labrador.

Christian Ministries Minor

Students in this program also choose from one of the Christian Ministries minors:

Fourth Year Requirements

All students in this program will complete the fourth year of their program in Newfoundland and Labrador. In this 4th year, they will take Pentecostal distinctive courses with Newfoundland-Labrador professors in St. John’s during the fall semester. In the winter semester, students will find themselves in one of the PAONL assemblies across the province, interning in a chosen field of ministry. Students completing the program with a minor in Intercultural Ministry will spend your internship overseas with a PAONL missionary.
