Tyndale Wellness Centre Professional Development Webinars for Psychotherapists offer weekly webinars, beginning September 2023, running through March 2024.
The weekly professional development webinars for psychotherapists cover a wide range of topics including therapeutic modalities, and legal and ethical issues, while also focusing on the cultivation and enrichment of therapists' self-awareness.
A certificate of attendance will be provided for live webinar participants.
Our presenters possess a deep passion for their respective topics and are qualified to deliver these current and relevant presentations.

In this workshop, we will have a discussion around being culturally sensitive in our work with clients. We will go over terminology, understanding our own social location, and our role as therapists in dismantling systemic racism.

Melissa Johari
Melissa Johari has been in Social Work since 2004, started her private practice in 2012, and been working with Tyndale Wellness Centre since 2019. She specializes in couples and has additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Prep-Enrich, SYMBIS, and the Gottman Method. She is a Gottman “7 Principles for Making Marriage Work” Leader, and has a 7 Principles retreat coming in March 2024.
