- Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab - Lessons and quizzes on how to listen better to English communication.
- BBC: Learning English - With a focus on British English, this has various lessons and quizzes on all of the language skills, including listening!
Speaking
- UsingEnglish.com - Includes lessons and articles on pronunciation.
- CAE Talks: Academic Presentation - This video shares the secrets that strong preachers, presenters, and TED Talkers know about how to present in an effective and interesting way.
Reading
- UsingEnglish.com - Lessons and articles on how to read better at all language levels.
Writing and Grammar
- Oxford Learner's Dictionary - A dictionary, but it can also tell you what verbs, adverbs, and prepositions usually go with that word.
- EF (Education First) - Resources for Learning English - Gives info and tests on English grammar, vocabulary, and idioms.
- Dave's ESL Café - Has grammar lessons, quizzes, and a help centre for specific questions.
- UsingEnglish.com - Includes articles, lessons, and quizzes on various areas of writing and grammar.
- Learning English VOA - Lessons and quizzes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced English.
- Lingua House - While built for ESL teachers, this website has lots of useful quizzes on writing and grammar skills.
