Jonathan Yeh
Biography
Jonathan Yeh is an educator with the Toronto District School Board who specializes in inclusive and special education. He has taught in a variety of specialized classroom settings, including programs supporting students with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. Jonathan has a Master of Education with a focus on assistive technology, as well as extensive experience supporting students with complex needs through high-tech assistive technologies such as eye-gaze systems and speech-generating devices. In collaboration with school board Speech-Language Pathologists, Jonathan coordinates and supports new programs in which his students engage in targeted programming designed to increase communication and independence for students who rely on speech-generating devices. He has also facilitated professional learning and delivered workshops for educators focused on practical, classroom-based applications of assistive technology and inclusive instructional practices.
