Biography

Laura has been a dedicated educator for over 30 years. Her career spanned 3 public boards of education with a focus on teaching and learning in the elementary grades. She was privileged to be a principal in many schools and to have the opportunity to open a new school in York Region. Laura was also the Administrator of Additional Qualifications in the York Region District School Board working closely with the Ontario College of Teachers in the development and implementation of teacher education programs. She is passionate about learning and the impact that teacher learning and development has on student achievement.
