Rachelina Macchia
Biography
Rachelina has dedicated more than 36 years to education with the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), serving students and families from a wide range of diverse communities. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, including Teacher, Vice-Principal, Principal, Special Education Coordinator, and most recently, Senior Manager on the Special Services Team. A passionate advocate for inclusive education, Rachelina’ s work has consistently centered on teaching and learning, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, thrive, and reach their full potential.
Rachelina’ s dedication to lifelong learning continues through her role as an instructor for the Special Education for Administrators Additional Qualification (AQ) course offered by the Catholic Principals' Council of Ontario (CPCO). She is also deeply committed to mentoring and supporting educators and leaders throughout their professional journeys. As a Faculty Advisor at Tyndale University, Rachelina is honored to support aspiring and practicing educators as they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their communities.
