Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding various types of disenfranchised losses in their contextual setting
  • Learning interventions and techniques to use in addressing disenfranchised loss
  • Exploring the symptomology of grief and the role trauma plays in bereavement.
  • Discovering the direction of current research in the field of bereavement and trauma and the distinctives of mourning as it pertains to disenfranchised grief.
