Biography
Dr. Noha-Christine Guorgui is an Assistant Professor of Counselling, a Registered Psychotherapist, and an Ontario Certified Teacher. Her areas of clinical practice include individual and couples counselling, with a focus on depression, anxiety, attachment, and relationship issues. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist and professor, she worked as an educator, an experience that continues to inform her teaching and use of diverse approaches to engage different learning styles. Her teaching and research interests include personality development, relationship development, and the integration of psychology and Christian faith. Dr. Guorgui particularly enjoys supporting students as they develop their clinical skills and professional identity as therapists.
