Tuition Aid Bursaries | Undergraduate

Tuition Aid Bursaries are bursaries available to full-time and part-time undergraduate students based on the student's status.

Tuition Aid Bursaries are not applicable to students in the Bachelor of Education program.

Applying for Tuition Aid Bursaries

Eligibility Requirements for Tuition Aid Bursaries

  • Applicants must be in satisfactory academic standing, maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in order to be eligible for Tuition Aid Bursary funds.
  • Tuition Aid Bursaries are available for students who are enrolled in a full-time course load (4+ courses) or a part-time course load (1-3 courses).
  • Some Tuition Aid Bursaries may require supporting documents. Please make sure to submit all required documents for bursary consideration.
  • The Tuition Aid Bursary will become a loan that must be repaid if a Tuition Aid Bursary recipient does not meet the following conditions:
    • Student must complete the academic term(s) and not be dismissed for disciplinary reason.
    • An academic term is considered to be complete when all the required work is submitted, including the writing of the final examination.

Administration of Tuition Aid Bursaries

  • Tuition Aid Bursary funds will be applied directly toward the recipient's student account (through the Student Financial Services Office).
  • All awarded Tuition Aid Bursaries are paid out as a percentage of tuition fees per semester. Ancillary fees are not included in the calculation of Tuition Aid Bursaries.
  • Course load will be assessed per semester.
  • Unawarded Tuition Aid Bursary amounts cannot be carried forward to a future semester or academic year.
  • Availability and amount of these Tuition Aid Bursaries may vary from year to year.
  • It is the student's responsibility to update and report any bursaries to their government student aid applications (e.g. OSAP) as they may affect your funding amount.
