Biography

Danielle Sum is a Toronto-based musician, educator, and photographer who views creativity as a vital spiritual discipline and a means of fostering community. She brings a wealth of professional experience across multiple artistic disciplines to her work in Music Performance and Worship Arts.

A versatile percussionist and songwriter, Danielle is recognized for her deep, honest musicality. Her performance credits range from indie-folk ensembles—most notably with the Toronto band Tiger Balme—to various musical theatre pits throughout the city. She has performed as a soloist with the University of Toronto Wind Symphony and was a finalist in the Orchestra Toronto Marta Hidy Competition.
