John Vizza
Biography
Fr. John Vizza is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Priest serving within the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada. He is the Pastor of Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Edmonton. He serves as the Judicial Vicar of the Inter-Eparchial Marriage Tribunal, the Eparchy itself and is the Bishop’s Delegate for Safer Environment and Abuse Allegations. Fr. John has served in the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Edmonton for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton since November 2016 and is its Adjunct Judicial Vicar. He has a busy consulting practice in the area of canon law throughout Canada, the United States and beyond. Besides teaching at Tyndale, Fr. John has taught, as an assistant professor of psychology, at St. Mary University in Minnesota, teaching a course in Professional Psychological Ethics and Law. He and his wife Rebecca reside in Sturgeon County, Alberta and have been married since 2013 and have six children.
