[Updated with Spring/Summer 2021 figures!] More students enrolled at Tyndale Seminary than ever before, according to data recently released from the Association of Theological Schools in Canada. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which closed campuses to in-person learning across the country, 910 students chose to study at Tyndale Seminary, compared with 890 the previous year for the fall/winter term. Another highlight is that students registered for a total of 740 courses in the spring/summer 2021, up 100 courses from the previous year.

Arnold Neufeldt-Fast“This was the best year ever for Tyndale, and what that tells us is that live-stream instruction can work well for graduate students and faculty and will be a growing part of our future,” says Dr. Arnold Neufeldt-Fast, VP, Academic and Dean of the Seminary. “Graduate students appreciate Tyndale’s balanced range of departmental options for each major, and have embraced distance learning.”

Students enrolled in various programs, such as biblical studies, counselling, spiritual formation, and pastoral ministry, enjoyed learning from women and men of faith who are experts in their fields, as well as Tyndale’s flexible study options that include modular programs and evening and weekend classes.

Tyndale also offers multiple degree options, such as a graduate diploma, Master of Theological Studies (MTS), Master of Divinity (MDiv), Post-Graduate Diploma, Master of Theology (ThM), Doctor of Ministry (DMin) and now a Post-Doctor of Ministry Certificate.
