How to Get Help
How to Get Help
| Website Documentation / Getting StartedNeed some Help?!
Sometimes you just get stuck. You’re just not sure where to go next, or how to do that one thing that you did six months ago in training. So, what is the best way to get the help you need?
- Check out the documentation! — There is a lot of great information there to get you started or help you remember how to do different tasks.
- Submit a HelpDesk request — When you submit a “Website Request” HelpDesk ticket, everyone on the Webteam will have access to your request. This works best especially when some of the WebTeam are away on vacation or are focused on other projects!
- If your request is urgent, connect with us! — First, submit an HelpDesk request – we need to document it. After your request is submitted, you can drop by our office (D404 & D405) — we are typically working on Campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can also connect with us on Teams chat during regular working hours.
- Think telepathic thoughts — Sometimes, if you think real hard, we can hear your thoughts and can send you the answers through our minds! ← Okay, that’s not actually true… we actually need to find other ways to communicate about your issues in order to help you — make sure you let us know!
Website Training
In order to add/edit content on the Tyndale website you will need some basic training. This training can be provided as scheduled group sessions, one-on-one or in small teams. Drop by our office (D405) or email webteam@tyndale.ca to arrange a personal training session.
