About Monica Hammond

Monica is committed to providing a warm, accessible and compassionate space for all clients. 
Having previously worked in social services, she has experience interacting with diverse 
people from different walks of life and facing various challenges.

Monica is kind, empathetic and eager to support clients, using a nonjudgmental approach. She loves connecting with people and her main goal as a therapist  is to empower clients through understanding their own unique strengths and capabilities.  

She is drawn to helping clients who experience  anxiety, codependency, depression, grief, loneliness as well as school related stresses. Monica comes from a strong faith background and values incorporating that while using an integrative approach which includes Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Based therapy.

Monica is passionate about Toronto and can often be found exploring new areas of the city, volunteering at her local church or taking a stroll with her dog, Bruce.
