Life As Mission Basic

In-person and Online   TIM Centre

Using Christopher Wright’s book, The Mission of God’s People, we will explore together how to be a missional people who participate in God’s mission in all spheres of our lives. The two primary questions we will address together are: Who are we (our identity)? And what are we here for (our mission)? The class will provide a comprehensive and holistic vision of God’s mission for God’s people in God’s world.

Missional Worship & Preaching

This course explores the dynamic relationship between worship, preaching, and the missional calling of the church in contemporary society. Drawing on biblical, theological, and practical insights, students will examine how congregational worship and preaching can foster communal participation in the Spirit, leading to individual transformation, ecclesial formation, and social incorporation for the sake of God’s reign in the world.

Seminar 1 in the Embrace Grief with Hope seminar series

One of the most difficult experiences for bereaved individuals is dealing with the expectations of grief. Sometimes, well-meaning friends offer unhelpful comments like, “Wow, it’s been so long; aren’t you over this yet?” As bereaved people, we often wonder if we are, in fact, not doing this right. This workshop will offer helpful guidance about reasonable expectations for grief “recovery,” both to bereaved people and those who care for them.

Children's Ministry Course 2

This certificate program is comprised of 3 independent courses rooted in biblical teachings and child development and one Intercultural Competency course. Through lecturing, hands-on activities and small group projects, students will be introduced to the mission/vision of Children’s Ministry, practical application and creative approaches for responding to the spiritual needs of children and families in this fast-paced world. Grief Support Group

Online - Zoom   Tyndale Centre for Grief and Loss

Our support groups are led by warm and compassionate facilitators, ready to companion you in your grief. It is a confidential safe space where you can (or not) share your feelings on the journey of integrating your loss. Being in a group setting you are reminded that “you are not alone” and that there are people who identify with what you are going through. We walk this journey together.
