A 2-day training covering a wide range of topics for pastors and ministry leaders who work with individuals with mental health concerns. Topics include Mental Health and Mental Illness, Self-Care, Understanding Psychotherapy, Barriers to Psychotherapy, Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, and Collaborating with Tyndale Wellness Centre.

This Module will explore the history of the notion of disability. You will learn how to think about what it means to have a body and to be human. You will also reflect on the importance of caring for individuals with disabilities and what it means to cultivate hospitality and friendship.

“A Day in the Life” is a unique on-campus experience designed to give prospective students an authentic look at what it means to be a student at Tyndale University. Prospective undergraduate students will be paired with current students who will serve as hosts for the day.

Tyndale University, in partnership with the Canadian Bible Society, will be holding a one-day colloquium on Friday, October 30, 2026 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of William Tyndale’s 1526 translation of the New Testament. The colloquium will include a plenary paper by Rev. Dr. Jennifer Powell McNutt (Wheaton College) and open sessions.

This module will explore the marks and means of spiritual formation, with particular emphasis on how to build and regimen of spiritual disciplines appropriate to one's personality, stage of faith and season of life.

Beginning Friday evening, guests are paired with host students and enjoy a fun event together. After spending the night in residence, the next day begins with a community breakfast to prepare you for the day, where you will discover program options, application information, and funding possibilities; explore the campus; and eat lunch with current students and faculty.

This module will explore the diverse ways in which men and women express grief and adapt to loss. We will examine mourning practices across various cultures and consider a range of strategies for navigating grief. The aim is to deepen the sensitivity and understanding we bring to the experience of death and to the care of those who mourn.

This Module will examine the concept of time relating to persons with disabilities. How should non-disabled persons share time with disabled persons? How are disabled persons affected by conventional understandings of time? While referring to biblical sources, students will develop a disability theology that fosters proximity and understanding.
