“A Day in the Life” is a unique on-campus experience designed to give prospective students an authentic look at what it means to be a student at Tyndale University. Prospective undergraduate students will be paired with current students who will serve as hosts for the day.

Disability, Theology and Spiritual Formation Certificate

This is an introductory program in Disability Theology. Students will examine the realities of living with a disability in contemporary society and their theological and spiritual implications. These modules will also delve into a practical theology regarding living and working with individuals with disabilities and their incorporation into our spiritual communities.

This module will explore what it means to grieve and lament, we will learn how to help others in their time of sorrow and loss. Special attention will be paid to the Psalms as a resource for encouragement for those dealing with death.

The objectives of this webinar are to provide an overview of the theoretical foundations of schema therapy, highlight key research findings on its effectiveness, and demonstrate how core techniques and skills can be applied in clinical practice. This session describes a number of ethical concerns that relate to individual people, systems, and values. It reviews the dominance of individual autonomy over concern for persons made vulnerable by disability, poverty, and mental illness. It points out problems in the governance of MAiD, including low accountability in reporting and monitoring. Finally, it reveals how values in the public medicine have changed to accommodate MAiD.
