Nearly 400 guests filled the Tyndale Chapel on April 6 for the 7th annual Spring in the Chapel, an Easter benefit concert for Tyndale students.
The music was as varied as it was beautiful, with Dr. Melissa Davis directing the Tyndale Community Choir, the TCC Band and the Tyndale Singers; Dr. Joy Lee; and guest soloist Saj McKenley who was backed up by a dynamic string ensemble. The Tyndale Band, directed by Chair of the Department of Music, Dr. Ken Michell, led the packed Chapel in joyful worship.
More than $19,000 was raised for Tyndale student financial aid and the Tyndale Music Fund thanks to our generous sponsors – ScotiaMcLeod’s Alan Kan Portfolio Management Team, which sponsored the concert, and Deeks Insurance, which sponsored the Alumni Exclusive Luncheon – plus ticket sales and donations.
