Opportunity Description
We are looking for a person who has heard God’s call to be a Pastor and is willing to serve in just about any capacity: with youth, with seniors, with children, preaching (up to once a month), in various community outreach initiatives, connecting and visiting with others, learning how to pastor and take care of a church.
We are looking for someone who: loves the Word of God, loves people, loves Jesus, gets along well with others, who is humble and not argumentative, is serious about their faith, is hard working and self motivated, does not view this time of service as a way point to somewhere “better” but who is going to love who they are with, who is willing to be coached, and is not afraid to get their hands dirty –whether that be tidying up after or before an event, etc.
Our vision and plan: Starting in Fall 2020 the successful candidate would serve with us for 1-2 years, serving 10-15 hours per week (Including prep and dependent on what happening with your schooling) During this time, LORD willing, we will do what we can to prepare the intern to be a Pastor. Note: An honorarium will be given on a monthly basis to the intern.
