Opportunity Description
This position is only for a student looking to complete their hours for graduation.
Responsibilities:
• Engage and build relationships with youth.
• Create and Conduct chapel service.
• Take part in programs, this may include programs that are offsite.
• Shadow the Chaplain in different programs and different locations.
• Take part in spiritual intake process
• Write progress reports
• Supervise youth
• Take part in prayer times with Chaplain
• Pray for youth, staff and volunteers
• Strong administration skills
Qualifications:
• Must be a current student at Tyndale in the Theology program.
• Have a calling as a Youth Pastor.
• Must be able to work with people from different cultures.
• Clear Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Solid communication skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to speak and teach the Word with understanding, simplicity and boldness.
• Be able to work with youth from different faith groups and facilitate their needs
Hours: will be determined based around student and Chaplain’s availability.
