Event Location: Online – Zoom
Event Type: Bachelor of Education
Professor Blair Pike will lead a webinar for BEd Alumni & Friends called, "The Emotionally Healthy Educator ".
As educators we have the responsibility of supporting our students' well-being as we enhance their academic success. Our students' (and their families') cognitive, physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional wellness hinges on our awareness and understanding of our own well-being. Situated in historical and current thinking and research about emotional intelligence (EI), this session will offer some perspectives regarding why EI is something to which we educators must be attentive - especially around report card time.
