Tyndale Awards Website
The Tyndale Awards website hosts applications for all of Tyndale's financial aid programs, including the bursaries featured below. Head over to the Tyndale Awards website and see what you may be eligible for.
A bursary or grant is a monetary gift awarded on the basis of financial need. Tyndale University College and Seminary has a number of bursaries and grants available to full-time* students (minimum 9 credit hours per semester for the Seminary and 12 credit hours per semester for the University College, not including correspondence courses). Bursaries and grants are available to new or returning full-time students with a minimum CGPA of 2.0. To apply for bursaries and grants, head over to the Tyndale Awards website and complete the Application for Tyndale Bursaries & Grants. The Application for Tyndale Bursaries & Grants is a 10-minute, all-in-one application, with a fast approval process.
*Some exceptions may apply. Please see the General Eligibility Requirements for Bursaries.
For a husband and wife who are both enrolled at Tyndale at the same time. Seminary students are eligible to receive up to $725 per academic year. University College students are eligible to receive up to $925 per academic year.
For family members (parent/child or siblings) from the same household who are enrolled at Tyndale at the same time. Seminary students are eligible to receive up to $600 per academic year. University College students are eligible to receive up to $800 per academic year.
Senior Bursary (over 60 years of age)
Tyndale students over 60 years of age are eligible to receive up to $900 per academic year.
Tyndale Bursary for Partnering Organizations
Full-time staff members of any of the following partnering organizations are eligible for a bursary:
- Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
- Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)
- the Navigators
- Power to Change (P2C)
- Youth for Christ/Youth Unlimited (YFC)
Up to $900 per academic year for members of ACSI. 25% off the tuition fee for members of IVCF, Navigators, P2C, or YFC. A supporting document confirming employment is required.
How to Apply for Tyndale's Tuition Aid Bursaries
To apply for any of Tyndale's Tuition Aid Bursaries, head over to the Tyndale Awards website.
Through a partnership with Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL), students at Tyndale who are enrolled in qualifying linguistics courses may be eligible for financial aid provided by CanIL. CanIL offers an average of $500 for each qualifying linguistics course.

Through a partnership with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador (PAONL), eligible students at Tyndale who are enrolled in a PAONL supported program may be eligible to receive a tuition subsidy of $800 per 3-credit hour course.
