Course Overview

This course informs students about the fundamentals of the addictive process and standard and systemic treatment procedures. Lectures, personal reflection, group interaction, discussion and assignments will be used to help students understand the theoretical, spiritual and practical elements of addictions work.

Prerequisites:

  • COUN 0574 Foundational Perspectives of Christian Counselling
  • COUN 0674 Personality Theories
  • COUN 0677 Family Systems Theory

This synchronous online course will be held from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
