Rev. Jervis Djokoto (MDiv, 2020)
Distinguished Alumni Horizon Award, 2024

Jervis Djokoto is a Ghanaian, Canada-based pastor, musician and author. After serving as the President (and founder) of a Ghana-based ministry – Worshippers Ministry International (WMI) – for more than 10 years, he moved to Canada with his wife, Robin. While completing his degree at Tyndale, he served as the Young Adults Pastor of Sanctus Church, a large multi-site congregation on the outskirts of Toronto. Later, he served as the church’s Missions Pastor. Currently, Jervis serves as Executive Director of the Renew Movement, a budding global initiative focused on facilitating mentorship, training, strategic resourcing, and consulting on personal, church and global renewal. In June 2023, Jervis took up a new role as the Senior Director of Church Health for the Free Methodist Church in Canada. Over the years, as a pastor, leader, speaker, author and musician, Jervis has served thousands through musical programs, teaching, conferences and retreats in Asia, Africa, Canada and the U.K. Today he wants to see many more Churches and Christians deepen their understanding and relationship with the Holy Spirit and experience deep Spiritual renewal in Jesus' name. Jervis's two books, Re:New and Re:Form, are the culmination of his life story and passion for seeing God renew His Church in Jesus' name.
