What are Scholarships & Awards?

A scholarship is merit-based, non-repayable sum of money awarded to a student to help finance his/her education. Other awards and prizes are given in recognition of outstanding achievements (eg. Tyndale GPA or giftedness in a particular area), and in some cases financial need must be demonstrated.

There are basically three categories of scholarships and awards:

  • for new students;
  • for returning students;
  • for graduating students

Scholarships are offered subject to funding and availability. Tyndale reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or suspend any scholarship. Only the recipients of the scholarships will be notified before the Spring graduation.
