For the 9th year, Tyndale University College & Seminary brings Christmas in the Chapel, directed by internationally acclaimed Dr. Melissa Davis, on Saturday December 7, 2019. The concert will take place at the Tyndale Chapel at 3377 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, with a matinee performance at 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. (ticket price $45) and an evening performance at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (ticket price $55). All proceeds of the concert will go towards supporting Tyndale’s scholarships and bursaries.
This year’s special guest, Mark Masri, with his powerful and soul-stirring tenor voice, will be rendering songs of love and loss, sorrow and hope.
The Tyndale Community Choir (TCC) includes talented singers from both the Tyndale and GTA communities. The choir is accompanied by the TCC Band, formed by the gifted trio Joy Lee, Juliette Benoit and Wayne Thompson, each with a unique gift and a wealth of experience in music ministry. They are joined by the exquisite String Quartet – Jenny Shin (violin), Sam Choi (viola), Grace Lee (cello) and Joy Eom (violin).
Festive dinner (4:45 to 6:30 p.m.) at $19.50 per person at the Dining Hall, and light refreshments after the evening concert are offered.
