COVID-19 Update

Tyndale continues to work diligently to do our part in ‘flattening the curve’ of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to report that reports from faculty and students indicate the move to delivering courses to online formats has gone smoothly overall, with only minimal disruptions. Faculty are being equipped to meet this new challenge by responding thoughtfully and compassionately to the changing circumstances. Staff roles that are able to work remotely are now doing so. Their commitment, resilience and flexibility are commendable.

Effective immediately, a new protocol has gone into effect for those who need to visit campus:

  • Visitors will only be permitted to enter through the main entrance.
  • Everyone will undergo a screening process. Those who have been ill or who have travelled outside of the country recently will be denied entry.
  • Visitors must have a clear and immediate need to be on campus and if that is deemed to be the case, the department which they need to visit will be informed. Staff from that department will escort them to the department and back to the entrance when they are finished.
  • During this period, it is recommended that those coming to campus park in Lots A and B.

The Critical Incident Team continues to meet daily. If you have concerns, please use the email address cit [at] tyndale [dot] ca.
