Dr. Tat-Ying Wong (MTS 1990, MDiv 1993) is a physician, therapist, educator, and spiritual leader dedicated to holistic care. He is the identical twin of Dr. Tat-Kwan Wong, with whom he co-founded Grace Health Centre in 1986. Called to serve through medicine, he graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and later pursued theological training at Tyndale Seminary to integrate mental, spiritual, and relational healing into his practice. As Director of the MFT Training Program, he has trained over 100 Tyndale students and thousands of Chinese professionals globally in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Dr. Wong has developed over 35 evidence-based courses for Chinese churches and pioneered EFT research with Chinese Canadian couples. Through online platforms, he expands access to therapy and caregiver training in multiple languages. A church leader and mentor, Dr. Wong’s lifelong mission is to bring healing and hope through faith-integrated care.
