Kaitlyn Ranasinghe (BA 2018) is the Program Manager at BridgeNorth Women’s Mentorship and Advocacy Services, an anti-human trafficking organization in the Greater Toronto Area. She has nearly 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, with over 8 years dedicated specifically to the anti-trafficking field. After graduating from Tyndale’s BA in Business Administration and International Development program, Kaitlyn completed her Master of Arts in Development Studies at York University, where she focused her research on human trafficking and the role of anti-trafficking agencies in Ontario.
Kaitlyn brings a comprehensive range of expertise to her work, including direct support for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation, research, program development and evaluation, public education, and training for service providers across the province. At BridgeNorth, she oversees organizational infrastructure, leads the agency’s prevention-education program, and develops strategic partnerships to support system-wide responses to trafficking. Kaitlyn is committed to a social justice approach that empowers communities through education and drives structural change to prevent and address human trafficking in Canada.
