Junior/Intermediate Track

The Junior/Intermediate track will prepare you to teach Junior grades (4 to 6) and Intermediate grades (7 to 10) with a focus in one subject area.

Additional Admissions Requirements for Teachables

Applicants to the Junior/Intermediate program must be completing, or have completed, a minimum of 12 credit hours, at the university level, in one of the following disciplines (teachable areas): English, French, Geography, History, Mathematics, Music (Instrumental), Science-General.

French as a Second Language Teachable

Junior/Intermediate applicants who wish to register French as a Second Language to be their teachable must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 credit hours (2 full credits) in French at the university level and pass the French Language Proficiency Assessment.

Track Degree Requirements

60 credit hours and approximately 110 practicum days.
