Course Reserves

Course Reserves | Tyndale University Library

The library's course reserves system provides short-term access to required class materials, either from our collections or supplied by instructors.  Loan periods are set by instructors and range from 2 hours to a few days.  Some materials may be restricted to in-library use.

All course reserve materials are available at the Front Desk of the Main (J.W. Horsey) Library.

For Students

Instructors will usually tell you if materials are on reserve, but you can also search for course reserves in WorldCat.

To check if your course has reserve materials:

  1. Visit the Tyndale Library website
  2. Click on the Advanced Search link beside the library catalogue
  3. Click the Course Reserves link in the gray bar near the top of the screen under the search box.
  4. Search for the course by instructor's name and/or the course code

Note:

  • Course reserve materials are available on a first-come first-serve basis
  • You cannot place holds on reserve materials
