Biography

Dan Sheffield has been a Sessional Instructor at Tyndale since 2007, while serving as Director of Global & Intercultural Ministries for the Free Methodist Church in Canada (2002-2017), and leading a house church community in Hamilton, ON (2009-2017). Dan and his wife Kathy served as educational missionaries with WEC Intl in Egypt and South Africa (1988-1990), and then returned to South Africa as church planters and community development facilitators (1994-1999). He is the author of two books, as well as multiple book chapters and academic research articles.

Dan currently serves as the pastor of Grapeview Free Methodist Church, a culturally diverse congregation in St Catharines, ON (2017-present).

Dan is teaching a course on Intercultural Competence for Ministry in Spring & Summer 2024.
