Children are our future spiritual leaders, so we need to nurture their faith formation rooted in biblical understanding and child development. In today’s fast-moving world, we put much effort into staying current with the world in which we are called to minister.

This module will explore various issues at the end of life including ethical decisions that need to be made, the necessity of a living will, how to say 'goodbye', sing 'vigil', learning the signs that the body is shutting down and rituals and beliefs that make a difference. You will learn how to walk alongside both the individual who is dying and the family as they deal with death and loss.

Disability, Theology and Spiritual Formation Certificate

This is an introductory program in Disability Theology. Students will examine the realities of living with a disability in contemporary society and their theological and spiritual implications. These modules will also delve into a practical theology regarding living and working with individuals with disabilities and their incorporation into our spiritual communities.

The believer is in a real battle. There tends to be two extremes when it comes to demons, the devil, and spiritual warfare. One extreme—everything is the devil. It is all the devil’s fault. The other extreme is the antithesis. The devil and demons are non-existent and I need not concern myself with them.
