Prof. Paul Burford
Paul Burford (Honours BA Fine Arts, York University) is a professional filmmaker, passionate about the theological impact of landmark films in respect to faith perspectives. His teaching background includes 3 years in Advanced Television and Film, a Post-Graduate program at Sheridan College, and 4 years teaching “Film & Faith” courses at Tyndale University College and Tyndale Seminary.
Paul’s career includes producing 400 hours of broadcast programming, 90 television commercials, and 200 corporate videos; and garnering numerous international awards. Highlighting Paul’s career was his 15 year partnership with film director Michael Anderson, whose credits include “Around The World In 80 Days”, “Logan’s Run”, and “Shoes Of The Fisherman”.
Mr. Burford is teaching a course on Film and Faith: The Canadian Voice in the Spring Summer 2018 term.
