Victor Edward Veary

After graduation, Victor went on to work as the Sudan United Mission’s general director (formerly field secretary) in Chad. He was honoured for his work with the French government with the Chevalier de l'Ordre du National Tchad.
He wrote or translated a number of books over his lifetime, including Church Brink God, Pentecost on the Plains, and Ta ge maji to ge Marc ra moe maktub.
Victor was a chapel speaker for Toronto Bible College’s opening in September 1967, where he talked of “A quiet resting place.”
