Extension of the Course Withdrawal Date Without Academic Penalty

The last day to drop a regular Winter 2020 course has been extended to April 13, 2020 (Monday). There is no academic penalty for withdrawing from a course. The course will appear on your record with a “W” (withdrawal) grade which has no impact on your GPA.

Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update (March 13)

For the past several weeks Tyndale has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We know members of our community are concerned. Precautionary measures to protect the health of our community have already been put into effect. We continue to follow the advice of Ontario Health, who are making decisions as new information and circumstances arise. We continue in our hope to move through the final weeks of the semester without disruption and to give students the optimum educational experience.

Guidance for the Tyndale Community: Students returning from areas affected by COVID19

As Tyndale University considers an appropriate response to the coronavirus outbreak we want to remind our community not to make assumptions about the risk of students, faculty or staff based on their ethnicity or travel history. Tyndale is monitoring the advice given by Ontario’s Chief Medical officer, which is that the risk of contracting the coronavirus in Canada remains low.
